I’ve never really lost a friend until today.. Its crazy cause all you can seem to think about is all the memories you had with this person.. While I was at work I get a text from one of my homies that my friend was brutally stabbed and left to die in the middle of the road.. No words can express how angry and how sad I’m feeling right now.. I just want him to know that he was an amazing person inside and out and very talented.. LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) - LAPD officers responding early Saturday morning to a 9-1-1 call from neighbors in a few blocks east of the Beverly Center came upon a grisly discovery: a mutilated body lying in the middle of a residential street.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. to a call in the 300 block of Orlando Avenue near Oakwood Avenue. When they arrived, they found a 27-year-old Asian man lying on the street, suffering from multiple stab wounds, police officials said.

Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Detectives believe the victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect — identified as Richard Herrera, 29, of Los Angeles — which resulted with the suspect stabbing the victim to death.

Police later arrested Herrera on suspicion of murder after finding him in East Los Angeles, police told KTLA.

Police have not yet released the victim’s identity, saying his family has not yet been notified.

The motive for the dispute and subsequent stabbing is still under investigation. The victim reportedly wore women’s lingerie when his body was discovered.

Neighbors who called LAPD to the scene reported having heard yelling and arguing prior to the discovery of the body.
